Why Choose Malta For Your Holiday ? Malta has over the years earned itself an excellent reputation in the hospitality industry, being a little Island with just over 450,000 residents this little Island in the Mediterranean attracts Millions of Tourists every year. The main attraction  is definately the weather, Surrounded by the Sea, the sun shines for most of the year making both Malta and Gozo appealing for those who wish to enjoy the warm weather and laid back lifestyle of Malta. The Maltese Islands are surrounded by little inlets and coves, long stretches of rocky beaches or cliffs, and sandy beaches. The most popular sandy beaches in Malta & Gozo are Ghadira beach in  Mellieha, Golden Sands and Riviera beaches which are located in Ghajn Tuffieha just off Manikata, Pretty Bay in Birzebugia and Ramla il Hamra which is situated in Gozo.

Diving in Malta is also a very common reason to Visit Malta, it's world renowned with its clear blue sea and excellent diving spots, Malta as well as Gozo have earned themselves a reputation in the diving industry, with numerous caves and wrecks available for divers, both recreational and technical. Wrecks include submarines, aeroplanes, destroyers, oil tankers and other vessels from the World War II. The sea temperature varies from approximately 15 C in the winter season to 28 C during the summer season.

There's no holiday without a little bit of nightlife, and Malta has its fair share. Recently dubbed as an alternative to Ibiza, nightlife in Malta is mainly located in two areas, which are; Bugibba & Paceville (a suburb of St Julians). During the summer months both localities are bustling with activity practically all days of the week, however during the quieter winter months nightlife is mainly active on the weekends. Some nights spots are also found in Valletta (the capital), however the atmosphere is more laid back with a few wine bars and bars mainly in the revitalised straight street.

Malta and its sister Island Gozo are also very well known for their History which has been influenced by the presence of many great nations, including the Phoenicians, the Arabs, the Romans, the Byzantines, the Ottoman Turks, the Crusader Knights, the French and the British, however it was the Knights of the Order Of St John, who left a lasting impact on the Maltese Islands, which is evident in the numerous bastions around the Islands and its Capital City of Valletta. Being a Roman Catholic country, Malta and Gozo, are also full of Shrines, Statues and Churches containing several important works of art, which are definately worth visiting. During the summer months one can expect to have one or two village "festas" going on practically every week, where locals celebrate their patron saint and set up firework displays in the evening. Village "festas" are a major attraction with tourists and locals, having crowds flowing to join the fun and enjoy the traditional firework displays, and outdoor entertainment synonymous with each village.
